B12 “hydroxycobalamin” plays a key role in nerve function and the formation of red blood cells. B12 Deficiency can lead to anemia, fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, pale skin, issues with the GI tract, numbness, depression, muscle weakness, vision loss and memory loss.
Vitamin B12 also plays an important role in the breakdown or metabolism of fats and carbohydrates and has a role in protein synthesis, which makes it a vital element in weight management.
Made up of these five B vitamins — B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 — b complex plays an important role in keeping our bodies running like well-oiled machines. These essential nutrients help convert our food into fuel, allowing us to stay energized throughout the day. While many of these vitamins work in tandem, each has its own specific benefits — from promoting healthy skin and hair to preventing memory loss or migraines.
You probably know that calcium promotes healthy bones, but you may have wondered what exactly that means. Calcium acts as glue for bone cells, essentially working to hold them together and make them sturdy. The more calcium you got during childhood, the stronger your bones are now. Calcium isn’t just important when you’re a kid, though. You can continue building bone strength and — just as important — prevent osteoporosis in later years. There are other times in your life when you might need even more calcium than usual, like during pregnancy and while breastfeeding or while recovering from injuries.
Folate is a B Vitamin (B9, Folic Acid) and is crucial in creating more red blood cells which provide oxygen to the body. It is also used to naturally treat depression and help regulate mood. It also aids the body in making hormones like serotonin and norepinephrine. These two neurotransmitters can influence mood. Folate helps prevent diseases by producing new cells and DNA.
This powerful intracellular antioxidant is involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, our bodies own detox pathway and the immune system. Glutathione is a substance produced naturally by the liver. It assists in the removal of heavy metals from the blood and can help reduce alcohol induced damage to the liver. Due to its antioxidant nature, it also reduces oxidative stress and has anti-aging properties. It is the master detoxifier and the body’s main antioxidant protecting our cells and optimizing our metabolic processes.
Glycine plays a vital role in muscle growth and joint repair. The body uses glycine during the biosynthesis of creatine; which supplies all muscles with a source of fuel to repair damage and grow stronger. It also provides cells with energy due to its role in converting dietary nutrients to help feed muscle tissues and potentially boost endurance, strength and performance. Glycine is a great supplement to reduce inflammation, build muscle and joint tissue, reduce wrinkles, improve your sleep and even help heal your liver.
L-Carnitine enables your body to move long chain fatty acids from cells into the mitochondria for metabolism of fat for energy. Not only will cells burn more fat as energy, but carnitine supplementation will result in higher glycogen stores in the muscles due to more fat being used as fuel. This results in greater athletic performance, better endurance and less muscular fatigue while burning more fat in the process.
Lipo-C includes these compounds: choline, carnitine, vitamin B1 (thiamine), and vitamin B5 (pantothenate). Lipotropic compounds aid in body fat reduction and preservation of lean muscle tissue. When injected into the body, these non-vitamin compounds stimulate the liver to break down fat, speed metabolism, and boost energy levels.
Pepcid (also called famotidine) blocks the action of histamine on stomach cells, and reduces the production of acid by the stomach. Pepcid is useful in promoting the healing of stomach and duodenal ulcers and in reducing ulcer pain. Pepcid has been effective in preventing recurrence of ulcers when given in low doses for prolonged periods of time. Pepcid also is used for treating heartburn and in healing ulceration and inflammation of the esophagus (esophagitis) resulting from acid (gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD).
A mineral that’s crucial to the body’s function. Magnesium helps keep blood pressure normal, bones strong, and the heart rhythm steady. Adults who consume less than the recommended amount of magnesium are more likely to have elevated inflammation markers. Inflammation, in turn, has been associated with major health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.
Vitamin C is one of the most important water soluble vitamins for your body! Vitamin C is commonly used in our intravenous vitamin infusions both as an antioxidant and to boost the immune system. As an immune booster, vitamin C reduces inflammation and promotes healing. As an antioxidant it removes free radicals, reduces oxidative stress, promotes collagen production and energy release.
Zinc is a trace mineral that is an essential component of over 300 enzymes in the body and therefore contributes to many important functions in the body including energy production and immune system support.
